Advanced Wound Care in Saginaw MI

If the patient does qualify, we will be using different forms of amniotic membrane allografts, including autologous platelet rich plasma (PRP) wound coverings, that will be applied to the wound bed to effectively heal the wound. If required, negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) will be utilized to promote further wound healing and tissue regeneration.

Treatment Process

Once approved, we will have our biologics distributor ship the most appropriate wound covering(s) and then advanced wound care treatments will begin; typically this is no more than a week from the initial evaluation.

Our Nurse Practitioner(s) will be providing treatment weekly that will be coordinated with both the patient and the home health care agency.

Follow up orders will be provided for any home health nurses or caregivers that will be assisting with care between wound covering applications if applicable.
